Tee Rogers, Celebrant

Committed to making a positive difference
for the community and for YOU.

Celebrant Statement

As a celebrant, my purpose is to honor the profound moments that shape our lives—births, unions, losses, and transitions—with creativity, compassion, and authenticity. I believe in the power of ceremony to connect, heal, and inspire, creating spaces where every person’s story is acknowledged and celebrated.

My work is grounded in empathy and inclusion, drawing from diverse traditions while centering the unique needs, beliefs, and values of those i serve.

Celebrancy, to me, is an art form. It weaves together narrative, ritual, and symbolism to create ceremonies that are as individual as fingerprints. I shape experiences with words, gestures, and meaningful objects. Each ceremony is a collaboration—an expression of the community and the people at its heart.

My approach is guided by integrity and a deep respect for life’s complexities. Whether designing a joyful celebration or a solemn farewell, i strive to foster an environment of belonging and reverence. I want those i serve to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their moments of greatest need or reflection.

Celebrancy is not only a profession; it is a call to uplift voices that may have been marginalized or silenced and to ensure that every person of every identity can be authentically honored in their life's journey.

Ultimately, my art is one of service—creating meaningful, memorable moments that add depth to our shared human experience. In every ceremony, i aspire to bring beauty, authenticity, and connection to the fore, helping others embrace the stories that make life extraordinary.

Tee Rogers Celebrant

Relevant Training: Certified Humanist Celebrant (AHA/THS), Certified Funeral Celebrant (InSight Institute), Certified Pet Funeral Director (IAOPCC), Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Cremation Specialist (CANA)

Tee was born in Boston, raised in Philadelphia, and now enjoys life in sunny Orlando, Florida. With degrees in English and Philosophy, Tee has dedicated her personal and professional life to community service, event & project management, and fostering inclusion.

Tee worked at the University of Central Florida (UCF) for 15 years as a project and event manager, overseeing initiatives like the United Way Campaign and coordinating (as a volunteer) campus-wide programs such as Boys & Girls Clubs retreats, the blood drive program, and a diversity program.

As UCF’s volunteer Humanist Chaplain (2016–2019), Tee spearheaded a religious inclusion initiative that included developing and facilitating diversity workshops on Religious, Secular, and Spiritual Inclusion and the creation of the university's Secular Safe Zone program. Her work extended to policy guidance, helping shape a more inclusive campus culture for individuals of diverse worldviews. She also served as the Advisor for the UCF Chapter of the Secular Student Alliance for about 10 years.

A passionate advocate for diversity, Tee founded BE. Orlando Humanist Fellowship (2011–2019), a non-profit organization that engaged secular identities and their allies in meaningful volunteer service. The organization also championed education and advocacy, working with charities and other organizations to promote inclusive practices for religious, secular, and spiritual diversity.

Tee’s commitment to equity led her to establish the STEM Gift Drive in 2015, a Central Florida initiative providing STEM toys, books, and games to at-risk youth. She continues to serve as Founder & CEO—or, as she fondly calls it, Chief Elf Organizer—driving the project’s growth and impact.

Tee began offering celebrant services in 2016, bringing compassion, inclusivity, and a deep understanding of diverse needs to life’s most meaningful moments.

Since 2019, Tee has worked full-time in the deathcare industry as a pre-planning advisor. She is a dedicated advocate for inclusive deathcare practices, having authored a workbook to support LGBTQIA+ and minority RSSI communities in deathcare planning. Tee is also collaborating with national organizations to create training programs for healthcare and deathcare professionals, ensuring equity and respect for all clients.
